We would really like to hear about your experiences while trekking/traveling through South America. Please write something out and you can be as detailed as you wish. We will include it on this site and of course give you credit for your story.

Please include your:

  • Full Name
  • Names of those traveling with you
  • Where you are from
  • Dates when you were traveling
  • Where you were visiting
  • Why you wanted to visit those places
  • What your experiences were

We want this site to be a great source for actual feet on the ground information. Not simply the same generic stuff you find in the many reference travel books that can be had. We have found in our years of traveling/trekking that the best info comes from others we meet that are traveling around also. What better way to find out about some really great out of the way place in Colombia than from someone that has just spent a month trekking through Colombia right? Maybe the Peruvian gal you met in the hostal in Quito told you about a spectacular trek that you thought was every bit as good as she said, maybe even better. That's the kind of stuff that we want to let folks know about on this site. Conversely if there is someplace that is actually not worth the effort or some experience was definitely not as good as you had hoped please let us know about that too. That way others can be aware of both the good and bad aspects of a particular trek or area.
